課程概述

The digital terrain today not only presents various challenges but also provides immense opportunities to the marketers. A series of trends that is highly relevant for marketers upon facing the digital realities has been emerging. This course aims to introduce such trends for students at or beyond the MBA level (i.e., “M” level at NTU). Selected articles will be assigned for the participants to read and discuss, managerial implications as well as future research opportunities implied by these articles will be explored, and first-hand practitioner experiences will be shared and discussed (through the collaboration with Pixnet). Course participants will gain an updated picture of marketing realities in the digital era. 

課程目標
1. Get new insights into basic marketing concepts that are relevant in understanding digital marketing.
2. Be familiar with histories, conceptual frameworks, and empirical patterns that are specific to marketing in the digital era.
3. Know how and to what extent digital marketing issues have been addressed both in the literature and by practitioners.
4. Be able to start their own research based on the course’s readings, discussions and project development.
